Description Sunset, East Anglia.

Took this a couple of hours ago, i just happened to look out of the kitchen window and saw the colour so grabbed a camera and tripod.

Thought about the ribbing *Lightfoot11 gives me about all the sun rises i miss, well i missed shooting a cracker yesterday, my phone rang at 06.55 which was my Wife telling me to look out the window at the sun rise, stunning! i went back to bed as it would have gone by the time i got my act together, anyway ribbing aside this makes up for it to me

This will probably end up in my scraps as i am sure it won't be many peoples cup of tea.

We do get a great deal of sky in sunsets cos its a bit flat .

Yes we do, i am not that good at landscapes/sunrises as i'm never up early enough and just don't have the eye for landscape, but i do try for the odd sun set, was down at Wells earlier and thought it would look nice as the light faded but my Wife decided that home and a cuppa was a better option

Not really, she has borrowed one of my Fuji's on occasion and shot some sun rises while out with the dogs, but that's about it, and she will sit in the odd hide with me as long as there are plenty of song birds to be seen.

That is a truly stunning sunset, Cy! Absolutely beautiful! I love it! Wonderfully captured!

A quick question though: What ISO number did you use here? It must have been pretty low as there is virtually no noise in this shot. It's just something that I've been thinking about recently as I've had to edit out a lot of graininess from quite a few pictures. It's pretty time consuming, so it would be nice to know of a way of taking a picture like this one without having to do that. Cheers mate!
