as some of you really musical people might know, a segno is the s-shaped symbol (lol try saying that 10 times fast) that you go to when you see the "D.S. al fine". its also the in the background of this chara profile for those of you who dont know what it looks like : )

ok, so....about him:

Name: SEGNO~~~!!!!
(Seg for short)

Age: 15
Race: half elfin, half human
Height: 5'7"
Hometown: Carmen town ~

Division: CRESCENDO
Class: archer/crossbow, basically far ranged attacks
Weapon: bladed boomerang <--> (cross)bow and arrows (main weapon, harp based),4 hiden piccolos

Skills [my summary of his attacks]: the boomerang is usually kept secured because its sides are sharp blades. Weighs 60 lbs. It could hurt. the strings are extra-strengthed to withstand massive tension, but are very fragile. its always kept taunt (while on). the arrows are retracable and completely made by him (everything was, even the strings), and special attachments allow him to fire multiple arrows at once. the problem is, it takes a while for him to reload. arrows may be combined with elements.
if the enemies are already within close combat range, he uses his piccolos, either to play them to sleep (white piccolos) or play different pitches of trills/sharp tones to paralyze the opponent (black flutes). may also be used for whacking. it is used with dark magic.
if excited into his violent mode (which is about almost NEVER) he summons his dark magic to create an instant darkness sphere around him where his opponents are completely blinded, but he can still sense them and strike with the blade. can envelope multiple people, but only lasts for 5 seconds, max. hes out cold for a minimum of 24 hours after his attack. happened only once in his life.

Personality: is quiet, usually calm, unless hes really interested in the subject, smile-y, nice, and sweet with no selfishness unless its about food, but turns really deadly if upset (rare) or sees/smells blood. can't ever keep a secret, even if its his own, but still trustworthy in getting things done.

History: Segno was born in Carmen, with both his parents as great musicians who could not travel because of their child. they had given him music lessons and gave him his first piccolo with which he played his first and only solo piece. however his parents died when he was 6 from a Behemoth attack. he was living with his grandmother on his mother's side, until he decided to visit Allegro Première for a festival, when he fell asleep on the train and ended up in Humoresque City. there, he recieved news that his grandmother passed away peacefully last night, and so he stayed in Humoresque City. he gave up his musical career (at age of 7??? O.o) and decided to become an archer/long ranged fighter to protect himself. he taught himself how to bend iron and forge weapons.

Other Info: makes everything himself, including the strings on his "harp", which are his own hair, just toughened with magic.
