Description
6th out of 8 of the Splinter Deities in Crystalline form, this is Prophecy the Starfish (Black Doom). This design is probably the simplest of them all, made to ironically look more like the original Shadow-Mephiles design, since Prophecy/Black Doom is the progenitor of Shadow the Hedgehog himself. The next (and last) in the series are Void and Lumina.

Greek mythology was actually one of the big inspirations for this setup, I've got a pretty strict deity hierarchy established in my lore.

I love your designs...but the name prophecy makes little sense...I mean Prophecy the Doom sounds almost contradictery. u got these ideas from mephiles the dark no doubt yes? well the name Mephiles is an old fashioned sounding name...it sounds biblical...I mean MEPHILES the dark has a real ring to it...just something u might want to think about

Well, most of these Crystalline designs are non-canon and I'm just working on these for fun as a side-project.
But in my Sonic Expanse canon, the two splinters that are most directly influenced by Ashura are Mephiles and Dark Gaia.

Hm, guess when you put it like that the splinters of the darker side of Deities aren't all likely to be effected, Argus's being an example I point out as a great independent entity. Truth is, I really do like the idea of discussing all your stories and ideas in depth with detail, you really do lend a story in each picture rather well, without the use of words.

hmm, if you got the crystalized form from Mephiles and Iblis. I wonder what we can take from the others. Like give all of them a species to control like the Wisps and Black Arms from Mother Wisp and Black Doom, respectively.
