Hey there! I use Clip Studio Paint, but I imagine it can be replicated in Photoshop or any program that gives you access to grain filters. Wouldn't be able to tell you my process off the top of my head since it was mostly trial and error, but it entailed a lot individual layer filtering, so each layer has different degree of grain to give off the effect.

Ah, if it can be done in PhotoShop, I can perhaps do it in Flash. Would like to make my own AoSTH episode someday.

I actually have this story in mind for a AoSTH-Sonic Boom crossover!
