Description Cairn 7 at Carrowmore Megalithic Complex, Ireland

Carrowmore is the largest cemetery of megalithic tombs in Ireland. The tombs are spread out over 3.8 sq km (1.5 sq mi) in the shadow of Knocknarea to the east. The majority of the tombs have been dated to between 4,200BC and 3,600 BC, the oldest predating Newgrange and the Egyptian pyramids. All the sites except the two at the entrance face Tomb 51 in the center.

I love this, really makes me want to be there. Stunning photo with great contrasts of tones and textures. I checked your gallery and your outdoor subjects would be absolutely stunning in Infrared - ever thought about it ?

Thank you... I've thought about it, just haven't had a chance to try it out yet... your infrared photos are beautiful, do you use infrared film or an infrared filter?

I just use a Hoya R72 glass IR filter on my Nikon 5400 digital camera (using a tripod is also essential). They come out bright pink on the camera so have to be grayscaled and clarified in paintshop pro.
