Nombeko!
One of my most favorite adopts ever<3I adopted Nombeko for the awesome I'm really happy with how the shading turned out! It actually came out almost exactly like I wanted it too.
Encase you're wondering the yellow lump in the BG is the back of Tandie, a African Wild Dog's head. She's Nombeko's bff and they travel together since neither have a pride/pack yet. I wasn't originally gonna include her but they're always together and it felt empty without Tandie's noggin there
Tandie was designed by the lovely there will be actual drawings of more than just Tandie's head later xD
I tried to ref some Nala, but I regret reffing from Nala because Nombeko came out a little too-Nala-ey. Namely in the nose...

Definitely! I'm trying to draw more of my adopts, I feel like most of them just exist as sketch-book doodles lol
Tandie is gonna be fun!
I have a idea for a picture where Tandie says "I found a pride!" followed by leading poor Nombeko into the territory of a single angry 'get the hell off my lawn' huge male lion. To which Nombeko asks "this is a single lion! how is this a pride?!"
"Well a pride always starts with one right? i figured there's be more around : D"
