So today(or technically yesterday) we had to put my cat Baby Bop down... She had liver and kidney failure, she stopped eating, and the vet told us she was actually trying to die. We had to take out to a vet clinic to put her down because our house-call vet was out of town. I don't really feel closure on Baby Bop's death, a part of which is because she wasn't here when she passed, and(call me crazy if you want) every time one of our pets have died there would always be two geese flying over our house and into the distance. It did it when Rosie(her sister) passed and Princess passed.
There were no geese today... I know its a bit silly to feel better about seeing two birds flying over, but I always liked to imagine it meant something symbolically like her soul was being taken to the other side or something. It always made me feel better.
I hope you made it over even without the birds, and without being here.

I had Baby Bop since I was around 2yrs old. She was kinda special to me because she felt like a piece of me growing up. I identified with her personality and it felt a little like me. I never really viewed her as my baby, like I do with most my pets now, I always emotionally felt she was like a friend figure. She was always my cool bob-cat looking kitty.

Anyway, I don't really feel like typing much(or I can't right now). Today didn't feel much on closure as I would've liked it to, and I didn't finish this picture before 12:00, which is what I did with the others. My little things I do for closure didn't work out, but I still feel she's in heaven.
RIP Baby Bop, I'll miss you. It'll never be the same without you here. I hope you're with your sister now. She was crying for her these last few days....
