Description When I set out to do another Egyptian painting, I had intended to do a sister piece to my "Egyptian Twilight" called "Egyptian Dawn". Things didn't work out that way, though! This piece took on a life of its own, and now we have an Egyptian Queen waiting for the funerary boat that will take her Pharoh's body to his tomb.

Thanks! I spent quite a bit of time on her costume, so I'm glad it turned out! It was a lot of fun to do...I'll probably do another Egyptian piece -- I love that era...
