Fun fact: the reason the Heath Colony thought Halfkite was a spy was because they saw a cat who looked like her in the distance one day... which was either Duchessbird or Lightpaw. Is she related to either of them?

After Halfkite joins...

            Scarmask always seems to have herbs stuck in his fur. It started out as a quick way to get herbs to ailing cats like Fennelpoppy and Cicadadrift, who he was able to treat properly, and both recovered from their torn pelt and mangled tail well from it. He’s now permanently wearing them.

            While eating prey, Falconstar, Lexfish, and Fennelpoppy let Scarmask share his troubles to them. Sloespirit had heard an ugly rumor about him and isn’t sure where it came from. Lexfish appreciates how Scarmask, even when he’s struggling, asks how he and his other clanmates are doing.

            Cicadadrift calls to Sloespirit to catch him a fat mouse on her next hunting patrol. She teasingly tells him to catch one himself as she’s not going on any soon. She gestures to her bite wound, but they end up feeling awkward and shift the conversation.

    Scarmask goes out on patrol alone. He heads out into the territory to stock up on cobwebs, something the clan never seems to have enough of. He goes to his favorite cobweb gathering places. Cats are unable to see him underneath the many cobwebs he gathered.

    Cicadadrift goes out for the fat mouse he asked Sloespirit for. He does manage to catch one and is tempted to eat it. He gives in to his grumbling belly, reasoning that no one will notice, but when he arrives back at camp, he feels the disapproving stares.

    Falconstar goes out on patrol alone. He catches the scent of a mouse nearby to camp. Unfortunately, he misses the mouse.

    Because Duchessbird is unavailable, Davebrook takes both Sharppaw and Lightpaw out on patrol. Sharppaw catches the scent of a fox. Tracking it down, the cats spot a kit fox wandering and carrying a mouse in its jaws. It immediately drops the mouse, running for its life.

    Lexfish goes out on patrol alone. He comes across a bird that’s occupied, scratching at the ground for insects. However, he narrowly misses the bird.

After Vinewhisker joins...

            Fennelpoppy has continued her pet project of trying to get Sloespirit and Cicadadrift to confess their obvious feelings to each other. Her attempts seem to be increasing their interest in one another, but has yet to see results, to her irritation.

            Duchessbird is sharing prey with Fennelpoppy. Duchess talks about his apprentice, Lightpaw, and says how he waved at Sharppaw with his tail, but Sharppaw seemed to find it weird. Davebrook was on Lightpaw’s side, and asked Sharppaw to grab something from the fresh-kill pile if she hadn’t already.

            Falconstar has lost a life, although the cause of this death is unknown. He was just sleeping, and suddenly found himself in Starclan with Bristleclaw, his mother, touching noses with him and telling him he must return to Hornetclan. He’s clearly having a hard day.

            Davebrook is decorating her nest. Halfkite and Vinewhisker make their own nests. Lexfish is watching over this while guarding the camp including Scarmask sitting outside his den, chatting with Falconstar over an omen.

            Fennelpoppy is exhausted from resolving petty arguments. Duchessbird is happy after one of the resolved debates with Cicadadrift and Lightpaw, who is now chattering at the birds above and humming respectively.

            Sharppaw is rethinking her life choices.
