Oh I know! Poor Merlin, he was so obviously jealous in that episode. It was heartbreaking to watch. And what's worse is that Arthur so obviously KNEW and was definitely playing with him, don't you think?

Yeah poor Merlin, Arthur was a real clotpole throughout the episode ... even alost made Merlin cry when he sort of sacked him (again)
Yeah he was playing with him but I prefer him like at the end of 2x09, now that's showing how much he loves Merlin, not bearing the though of having a sad Merlin and wanting to make his boy smile, if that's not love then I don't know what it is
