It scans a bit to the blue side, because I didn't have it set to grayscale

I got to meet him over the summer. I've been listening to him since I was literally like 10. I'm 19 now. I don't think he realizes how much his music means to me. I told him how long I've been listening to him, and he hugged me, called me a sweetheart, and said "Thanks for growing up with us". It was amazing. I just wanted to pass out or start bawling my eyes out right then and there. Every time I see him live it's a new experience. He really is incredible.

Yes, I saw him live last year, it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. He's such a real, down-to-earth person, you feel that he's a friend, like he's shared so much of his life with us through his music.
When I gave him the drawing and the painting, we were near the end of the line, and it was a cold night in April outside...after hugging me we walked away and I remember turning back, about 20 yards or so...and he was still watching us walk away, and waved. It was really a special feeling.
I can only imagine that he looks at life so differently now since he could have died fighting his leukemia. I am so grateful that he lived and is still here to share his music and his talent with us

well the "dear Jack" version (uncropped) also has a special filter applied called "polaroid transfer" which brings it further away from the actual drawing...I always start with a full head drawing, but after I scan it sometimes i like to crop, for the sake of design - if I change my mind I still have the origunal scan to go back to!
here he had dark hair, which isn't his natural coloring (I think the blonde/lt. brown is natural for him)

Ah, well both of them look awesome lol. I like that you added the blue tint though - it's always good to apply their music to stuff like that. Makes it more interesting and thought filled.
Yeah I like his natural color better, I remember had that dark hair though beforehand. I'm more of a fan of the shots and music videos he's done for 'The Glass Passenger' though.

Andrew is such an amazing musican. Whenever i first heard Jacks Mannequin i thought his voice sounded fimilar and when i found out he was in Something Corperate i was so happy! Did u hear how he had i think it was cancer or something like that not to long ago?
