Bleach Tarot XIII--Kuchiki Rukia as the Death ("La Muerte")

Why? Um...she's a shingami. And I needed a good flow from the XII to the XIII (the Hanged Man has yet to be finished, but you'll understand later.) So here she is.

Now the death card isn't all bad. It signifies, more than anything, a new beginning, and the beginning can be good or bad. Although people may be frightened to go outside the box and change their daily routines, a lot of good can come from a change.

For example--just hypothetically--you find a dude who drains you of all your supernatural powers. Most people would say that sucks, but there's some light to the situation--in this case, the guy's willing to go through hell and high water to save you.

That's why I picked her.

As for the art, I'm not in love with it. It turned out as I pictured, but nothing spectacular. I still have to work on those Jigoku no chou a bit more....

Up next: XI, the Strength! The only card that has a number corresponding with the people on it.
