Due to tøp's latest aesthetic, which appears to be heavily inspired by revenge era mcr, i felt inspired to draw tyler & jenna joseph based on the "three cheers for sweet revenge" album cover.tbh I'm not too pleased with it, but everyone else seems to like it so?

I DID (and Tyler saw & faved it on Twitter, so I'm pretty happy tbh) Thank you very much!! It kinda happened because when Blurryface was being announced and released everyone on Tumblr was talking about how Josh & Tyler looked like they came from Revenge era MCR and idk, I was looking at the album cover one day (not long after Tear in my Heart was released) and this happened. woo!!

I'm a huge MCR fan, and TOP as well of course. So this is like, gorgeous in all respects of the word.
Gosh, that's so funny that everyone seemed to think of the Revenge era, I just did not get that until I saw this drawing. But it makes sense, all the black and red, the slasher theme of the "Tear in my Heart" video. Still, it's all uniquely TOP.^^

Aw really, thank you so much!! Yeah, Josh has noticed a few pieces of my work, I'm just waiting for the day that I can hand over my work to them in person and hope that they recognise it - that would be like a dream come true tbh.
tbh I didn't make much of a connection myself initially because I'm not a huge mcr fan, but once the connections were pointed out to me I could totally see it!!

I honestly thought someone would've done something in regards to the revenge era as soon as 'tear in my heart' was released because everyone goes on about how tyler and josh look like they've been pulled straight out of the revenge era??? idk, i'm just surprised it's taken this long for someone to make the visual link - unless someone has & I haven't seen it, oops
