UPDATE: Well, it turns out Zoey and Lauren aren't frauds after all, and the whole thing was just an elaborate April Fool's prank ...anyways, I'll leave the original text below for context; however, I'd like to share a short story about how Dawn came to be, because if my plan for April Fool's had worked the way I intended, Dawn likely wouldn't exist!

So, after I submitted the original version of the April Fool's comic, I realized that I needed to create a character to serve as a 'replacement' for Lauren and her friends - and since this 'replacement' would likely be a one-off character that would never see the light of day once the prank was over, I figured I'd finally give Genesis 9 a try and see what kind of horrific monstrosity I could come up with. Originally, I was thinking about doing something REALLY weird like a hideous ogre in a skimpy swimsuit, but thankfully I quickly decided against creating such an abomination...

Anyways, I still had the G9 figure loaded when I noticed an item in my content library I had forgotten about - one designed to eliminate a character's limb (or limbs) . So I started playing around with that instead, trying out different combinations of missing limbs before finally settling on having the character missing their right arm above the elbow. After that, all I had to do was dial in some shaping morphs, add some skin textures, hair, clothing, etc. and before I knew it, I'd ended up (unintentionally) creating an entirely new character! All she needed was a name, and fortunately I already had the name Dawn in mind (due to it barely losing the vote I did a few weeks back).

Of course, now that it's clear she won't be replacing Zoey and Lauren, that leaves one important question: what happens to her now? Well...I guess you'll just have to wait and see....

Now that Zoey and Lauren's deception has been revealed, I've got to find someone to replace those frauds. Fortunately, I was just approached by someone who seems to be up to the task...

She didn't tell me much about herself, other than she's sassy, confident, and always willing to lend a hand (pun VERY much intended). Oh, and if anyone ever tells her she can't do something because of her missing arm, she'll make sure they regret it by doing everything she can to prove them wrong!
