To piggyback on LeDaverix's comment, I love the way the light changes, but I like how the ring starts as a flat object, but grows brighter as it goes along. Very cool.

This is really good ! The physical transformation of Frodo is definitely striking, and I'm also impressed by the way the whole design of each successive cover reflects the main journey of the trilogy, from the verdant hills of the Shire to the cracked rock and burning flames of Mount Doom. The quotes you chose for each book are very apt as well -- I had forgotten about the Two Towers one, but it is obviously a fantasy classic ! A delightful tribute.

excellent idea! i'll admit when i need insp. to draw frodo i often look at those before and after photos of meth addicts to get a visual idea of the corrupting influence of the ring.

Haha well I didn't go that far with my reference material but now when I think about it, it would be a good idea
