Description I just wanted to draw him in a show for the first time and Canyon Creek Ranch happens to be hosting something I want to enter him in. So, good luck Corneo and welcome his rider, Lukas Cypher, Hayley Cypher’s older brother!

STORY (431 words):
"So, first show with Corneo. How we feeling?" Hayley said.

Lukas hesitated for a moment and gave Corneo a pat on the neck. In return, the Zlesdin stallion snorted and flicked an ear. He laughed, then finally responded.

"Feeling great!" He said enthusiastically.

"That's great!" Hayley replied excitedly.

Lukas tightened his reins as he passed by a few bushes that were rustling, which would easily have spooked Corneo. The stallion raised his head and took a few trot steps forward, but that was about it. Lukas sighed in relief and scratched Corneo's neck softly.

"Alright, what time is it?" Lukas asked Hayley.

Hayley looked at her watch, then responded. "4:55."

Lukas took a deep breath and adjusted himself in the stirrups. His class was supposed to start any minute now, and he was the first to go. A gust of wind flew past him, and he made sure to tighten his reins ever so slightly in case Corneo noticed, but he didn't. He looked around at the desert landscape, then up at the sky. The sky was a gloomy blue-gray color, with clouds forming in the sky. Suddenly, he heard a loudspeaker go off.

"Working Hunters, please come to Arena 1 at this time. Again, Working Hunters to Arena 1."

Lukas felt a knot form in his stomach, and he felt a reassuring pat on the thigh from his sister.

"You got this!" Hayley whispered.

Lukas finally urged Corneo forward and grabbed a proper hold on his reins, making sure to fold Corneo into a neat frame. He stepped into the arena, and off the pair went at a brisk trot.

"Be a good boy, alright?" Lukas whispered.

Corneo tossed his head slightly, and he knew this was going to be a round for the books. Once he made half a circle, he pushed Corneo into a large canter and lifted into half seat as he had practiced. Corneo flew into the canter, quickly finding a rhythm, and Lukas looked for the first jump. Of course it was a large, scary faux bush. He cringed slightly, but turned Corneo onto the rail and pushed him for a good distance. The large stallion lifted his head slightly, and Lukas sat down in his seat. Luckily, Corneo decided to fly over it gracefully, and Lukas gave him a tiny scratch on the withers as a reward. He then slowed Corneo down slightly as he approached the next fence.

"We take it one step at a time, alright boy?" Lukas said to Corneo.

The stallion snorted, then bobbed his head as an answer.
