A chaplain of the Black Templars space marines based off the sneak peeks of the upcoming space marine chaplain models of games workshop, may use this picture for hobby projects soon...this is a work in progress and will be inked and coloured soon

Great work man, your perspective is improving a real lot and the proportions are really awesome on this one. I am curious, have you tried using the proportions thing that I had posted? I know you had favorited it but you actually never mentioned it and this is the first SM drawing you have posted since then, so I am just a little bit curious. Oh, and rediculously awesome job on the details man.

We all love chaplains. Mine's named Bob. and it's dissappointing if he doesn't die in a game. means i didn't try hard enough.
This drawing is sweet. Though i am tired as hell of the black templars. Been paintin em for the store for a month now. bleah. Got sum nifty stuff in the codex tho, still don't like em.

There's nothing wrong or bad about the templars per se, i'm just tired of hearing about em/ painting em. gonna see a shitload of em soon, gotta lotta people who are card carrying-members of the army of the month club. the two sword brethren models with helmets are cool, the otehrones have massive foreheads that i just can't get past, High-Marshall Helbrecht is nothing special. Calgars stat line, MC power weapon +d3 attacks on the first round of combat. Grimaldus is a bad-ass, don't care for the miniature.
The holy Orbs of Antioch are hilarious and effective though...'OH LORD! Bless this thine holy hand grenade of antioch...' lol

Cool I like Chaplain i always my first choice for a HQ especially since i put mine with a Veteran squad with Furious Charge meaning i get 32 Str 5 Attacks with re-rolls

yep, chaplains are the best, especially if you arm them with powered close combat weapons, eg: crozerus and powerfist, lightning claw or other!!
