Description Hey everybody! At the moment I'm busy preparing for AniMaCo in Berlin, which is next weekend (24.10-26.10). For the opportunity I finished this illustration of my OC Ludo with an octopus. The sketch is older, already from September, I'm glad I finished it though. Hope you enjoy!

Looking forward to meeting some of you at AniMaCo! My table can be found in the artist alley section of the entrance area. See you!

Media: Copic Multiliner, Copic Marker, Posca on Canson Illustration paper

EDIT: Great it has been such a long time I didn't uplaod anything here that I obviously have some problems to submit my work the way I want to. Now it has the right title! XD

Thank you, I'm glad you like the colours! I just love working with those <3 The paper is actually really great paper for anything traditional, especially if you want to do mixed media works (:

Ah, no problem!
Thank you for letting me know! I've heard thick papers eat up Copics very fast / dry them out because of how absorbent they can be. Does you have this problem with this paper? o.o)?

Sadly I think it's true that it absorbs more of the ink, I also think when you want to do gradients you need way more ink than if you use a marker paper. For me it was always okay because I don't use markers as much as before, and also mostly for little ACEO Cards only. However, what I really liked about it that it's not as thin as most marker papers and it's not that bright white. Still I think it's probably not that bad as other thick papers, because when you work with watercolours you notice that it doesn't absorb the water as fast as a watercolour paper for example....to be honest, I don't have that much experience with trying out markers on different paper, so I'm probably not a great help, sorry

Oh no you were plenty of help! Yes, probably better than to use thick paper on smaller pieces! I had a lot of trouble with mine drying out using Bristol board the other day doing a gradient so you're definitely right about that! @ __ @

Thank you!

Traditional art is best, in my opinion. Me too (despite i try to color in digital), i'm not feel to change my media. I mean also some lovely sensation to dirty your hand and touch the tools.

I don't like octopuses that much, but I can say that this one really caught my attention * * It's so pretty~~~The color that you gave to it and the expression of the guy It's just so cute I can't believe it. Also, great job at the designs at the front! I love his necklace!
