Very delightfully done imagery, made all the more terrific by the background insight of a magnificent winged creature. Always so compelling to both see these raptors in the wild and note the way they have become so precisely adapted to making a living off the land -- or waterways in this predator's particular case.

I love ospreys, we have a pair on the river near our house and another pair at the downtown river. ^^ *jealous of your perfect wing feathers AGGGGGG* XD

.o. that's so lucky! o.o We don't get any here...well, almost none. They're rare winter passerbys or migrants...haven't seen one for around 2 years.
Thank you~ XP

This is really wonderful, thank you! I love the amount of lovely detail you put into it, very striking. The markings on the bird are so amazing and lifelike. The pose is really awesome and quite fierce. I really love how some of the flight feathers are curled, very realistic and cute. The texture is quite superb and I love the fierce sharpness of the bill. The tail is very elegant-looking and pretty, all fanned out. The background is also amazingly detailed and the shading is really realistic on all of it. Excellent work and thank you again!
Meh, Great Blue Herons are hard. Even when you see them on a regular basis you spend too much time trying to figure out why some of them look brown and why one looked actually blue. Then, there's the marbled, fluffy breeding plumage... Too hard.

You're quite welcome. You did wonderfully with the movement placement. I also like what you named the piece. I'm a sucker for Gaelic sometimes.
Yeah, I'll bet it's confusing. Y'know, sometimes they actually do look like they're trailing cobwebs to me.
