I think it's kind of sexy myself. I can't explain it either. . . when I was expecting, my God my ex-husband could not keep up with me, he gave up. You do the math. As for the knives, who cares?

I've read a lot of ridiculous drivel about art but that one makes the top-ten list of stupid comments about art.
As for the photo, it's weird, and that's the most complimentary thing that I can think to say about it.

Best thing about this picture is that everyone has their own take on what it means. No artist could ask for more than imortality through interpretation.

Thanks, that's alwaysone of the key things I try to achieve - leave it open enough for the viewer to interpret themselves. I don't really try to make a statement or give answers, asking the questions is much more fun.

their whole facade is far too stereotypical to work.. imo.

i like the implied purity of the woman in that she's wearing white. . . gives me the impression that she's a sacrifice. :shrugs: i'm probably wrong though.

This is an interesting picture. The men could be protecting her, but they also could want to kill her and steal her baby. I also notice the woman is holding a rosary in her hands. Very interesting work.

Great inspiration on the composition of the photo, and very well shot. Very insidious situation, yet the lady appears not afraid. Nice touch having her clutching a rosary with the cross prominently displayed. I've heard of the band; I have only heard a song or two so I don't know their music, but the composition of this photo fits well wwith the title of the band. Congrats to you for being able to do promotional work for them.

Dude I don't know if you're religious or not but this reminds me of something in revelations. I'm not that great of a scripture type person nor the best Christian ever but it says in one chapter, And I'm paraphrasing here, "The woman had a pillow for the sun and the moon was at her feet. She was pregnant and in labor with her child. Suddenly a great beast that dragged the stars down with it's tail came and waited at the woman's legs to devour her baby-" well in the end God prevails right when the baby is born...it's a big methaphor, revelations so....that's what this reminded me of....
Lovely shot too. I think the shadowing and the kind of menecing presence of the four men really brings out the kind of crisis like situation.

Thanks. I'm not really religious and I haven't read the bible yet, but that's great that the photo meets up with something from there. When I was in pre-school, religion was always my favourite subject, it was basically story-telling time as far as I was concerned.

Well it still kind of is if you have a childlike point of view and mind (Like me, I'm pretty much a 5 year old trapped in ther body of a teen) I see it as stories too . But like I said before, it's a great picture and that's what I thought of as SOON as I saw it.
