Description
Last year I took part in a workshop in Paris, one of the instructor was Mathieu Lauffray. And Waooo ! what a slap in the face when he shows some concept for Tarzan movie project directed by Christophe Gans ! I decided to make one or two illustrations on this project, to continued the idea of C Gans, which was an epic style, using the fantasy side of Burroughs book and creating a tarzan ( it's my opinion when I saw Mathieu concepts) near the images of Frazetta and his Conan illustrations ...
so I hope having succeed to making an illustration near the idea of this incredible movie project which unfortunatly will never see the light of day :/ , and by this illustration to pay (a very little) tribute to the awesome painter Mathieu Lauffray.
I take the opportunity, to thanks this great artist for his kindness, and his modesty, his a great professionnal, very accessible who gave me good advice on my work, thank you very much Mathieu !
