Description
simple design which i started doing as anatomy practice which turned out to be a full color. I tried a new coloring technique as well which i'm quite happy with. went a lot faster and smoother than how i normally color, I think I'll try to do it like this from now on.photo reference was used for anatomy taken by me.
took about 3.5 hours to color, not counting the initial sketch. Photoshop CS2

What's the new colouring trick?
Two minor gripes though, the edges of the shades on the skin seem a little too harsh, and, as a result, the figure seems wreathed in shadow more than the rest of the piece suggests... (not that I can say much, it's colour, not my forte...)

wow i love everything about this pic. the armour, her hair, skin, and fur on her boots. also her arm looks realistic, sometimes that kind of pose is hard. i hope to see more!

I like how you've shaded the muscle on her arm. She looks strong and feminine.
Love the costume. Kind of "barbarian hero" feel.
