Description
a piece i did for a friend in Art Nouveau style. I've been really wanting to do something like this for some time now so it was nice to get it out finally
my focus was on color and making the main character stand out from the background which i usually have a hard time doing. anyways, a very fun project indeed and probably my favorite to date. i would like to do a male version in the future Detail Shot

Very nice! I saw the male counterpart as well. Very pretty work. Im curious, do I see some of this work with a layer set to multiply? It looks like there is line below the coloring in some areas.

that kinda answers my question right there. I notice that some parts there are multiply and other parts look like they are just set to normal. Do you use all the different types of modes or just a few. If there are just a few modes can you list them

i usually use multiply, overlay, screen and color in almost all of my art. on this one i did a hole lot of overlay to get the textures and a bit of color to make things change hues. i actually don't remember where i used multiply, it's possible that i actually didn't use any here.
