Cliche name, I know. I probably could have thought of a more creative title, had I taken the time. But in my defense, homework has left me tired and lazy. D;Anyways, I'm quite happy with how this one turned out. It's one out of a set of 6 self portrait shots that I have to do for my final project in my Photography class.
They're supposed to represent 6 different feelings/emotions, and this one is based on insecurity of ones body. (In other words, self concious.)
Let me know what you think, or if you have any tips/critique.

I really like the isolated colour of the measuring tape, and your uncomfortable position.
It seems like you're so focused on your superficial size that everything else is drowned out, and you seem uncomfortable in your own skin; clawing at your neck, sucking in your stomache, etc.
And I have no idea if it was intentional, but the way you've pulled your shirt up looks like it's formed a roll by cutting into the skin on your back. It's like a peek at what you're trying to hide, behind the show of your stomache, displaying what you want everyone to see.
You look gorgeous, though, and I see the heart on your belly button piercing. ;3
