what immediately grabbed my attention was the light that illuminates from behind/ around the tree on the right side. the reflection in the water is a nice surprise. the color composition was thought out really well. the pic would have worked w/ or w/out the kayak, but it does surprisingly add interest and color to what could be perceived as just another photo
