Description Hello again! A few interesting things with this one. Since I had established I wanted to do the project combining all the characters together, I knew that I couldn't use the one that I had already made before , plus, it also wouldn't make sense since the Hard Mode Version of the character is seen in Eggman's Coma after the Bite of '91 occurs in the game. It's funny because I was essentially going backwards from this point. Shadow Sonic is the last one chronologically, and this one is the 2nd. I had actually debated about redrawing '17 Golden Sonic as well, but I figured I could work with the one I already had. This is still one of my favorite drawings I've made. This one took about 3 hours from what I remember. It would be the first time I drew a character sitting as well. I used this as my profile picture for a while, since it works really well for that, and I used it for my alt account to distinguish it now. This image actually has 5 edits from when I had initially finished it, fixing various things such as the eyes and legs. The only thing I don't really like about this image is how the hand/fingers are. They turned out a bit long. Also the shape of the left foot got skewed because of how long the line was and I couldn't make it completely straight lol. The slight variation in the right leg was also to cover up the part where the arm goes down, because I didn't extend it down far enough to keep the leg straight. Now that I think about it, I could've just scaled it, but I didn't know how to use that at the time. Other than that, I really like how this image turned out, all things considered. I think it also turned out creepier than the image I referenced, and I'm not sure why. I was going for creepy because it's horror, but it's more creepy than the reference material I think. I think it may have something to do with the teeth. The red outline for them is not straight, but I just rolled with it since it looked like it was good enough. I remember that the head when I had the lineart done for it, looked kinda goofy, but it was unfinished, so it was just a placeholder for the time being. At this time too, I started to implement a standard process for starting with the character's mouths first when drawing them, since I found it was much easier to form the head around it, rather than starting with something at the top like the ears, which I used to do for some of my older ones. I also started taking up a specific amount of space on the grid to make sure that their mouths weren't too big or small. Although this depends on the drawing, mostly, and some looks better than others. [It's 3 down, across, on the grid, depending] and then adjusting accordingly. I think my proportions will always be a bit off, but that makes the drawing unique to me, because I drew it like that. I've never traced a single piece I've drawn here, and I refuse to, because it would absolutely defeat the purpose of me drawing in the first place, because I wouldn't get anything from it. So even if they do come out looking not very good, it was practice, and my best effort. Sorry for the rant and a bunch of unrelated things lol, I hope you guys like the drawing!
