The mundane and easily forgotten is something which we create.
The fleeting is precious and pure with each experience as it is also easily forgotten.
No idea where I'm going with this it's just what this made me think Β

If you do not mind me asking
how does one go about preserving a bug? I am more into mammals, reptiles, and birds
And how do people go about culling butterflies without ruining them o3o

the adaptation of insects on the entomological pin is called "preparation of insects," and it does not (except for certain species) not demanding work,it needs only the patience and a little of a skill. This insects is then supported the pins until the hardness of his bodies
for the rapid death of the insect is uses the acetic ether ....is used special glass bottles impregnated with this ether ;D

Whaat, I thought they would rot or attract other bugs looking for a meal if you just pinned and let them dry on their own
I don't like killing bugs, they crunch ;-; or squish everywhere, But I like the collections like this one
And I'm confused how you would go about collecting them? Catch, put into a jar with something to kill, then pin?
how would one even catch a moth or butterfly without hurting the wings ?
(Sorry I am very interested

yes, they are real butterflies and moths, unfortunately on the entomological pin :/ ...but it's my old collection, now i don't want to own the butterflies in a box,i wanna see them flying over the meadow. The attempt to own the beauty of nature is pure folly ;D
thanks for your comment!
