Description
DA: it's way past time to fix eclipse!
In the Watch List: navigating thru an eclipse watch folder requires too many extra clicks. One has to click "view all" to see a set, the again to enlarge, then click again to actually magnify and then go click on the far right x to leave and then go click the far left "back" (to go back to watch, if you want to delete the deviation from your watch list ... and click on the next deviation. Return us to the pre-eclipsed versions of watch and favorites.
Still in Watch: at the end of the list, with nothing left in the folder, instead of default returning the user to the upper level, the user has to click to leave (the empty folder). Also, prior to eclipse, there'd been a save option/folder title, for deviations which one wanted to "keep". I used it and had a lot of "saves". They all disappeared with eclipse, to be replaced with an empty save ability. There's no shame in admitting that navigating thru eclipse is like "new coke"!
Also: Why does DA dictate main page format? It's as if art has to "look" one way, so DA (rather than the artist), is highlighted. On the main page, to navigate using the notes, notifications or user icon, one has to click and then "ever so carefully" pull the mouse down/left so as not to exit the menu. Why does there have to have a banner at the top of the main page? Why does one have to have "featured" favorites? Why are favorites in the order of collecting? There'd previously been an option to have them in a (pseudo) random order, which allowed some sense of chance, to see one's not recently fav-ed.
To me (and I believe others), eclipse has sucked from day one, and still sucks. If DA's not going to fix eclipse, then consider restoring the pre-eclipse switch so we don't have to pretend everything's viewed so banally, as if we're on a "smart" phone.
... and is there any point in talking about the miserable excuse for notifications?
If you see this and agree, don't let this just by my opinion. Post your own issues to the DA community.
Still saying "No" to eclipse!
