Disclaimer:
This is a special rogue because this is a rogue which was borrowed from an open source drawing of a character named Tom Bat, created by Amanacer-Fiend0. This a rare case, because each character he designed is based on legit heroes like Batman, Superman, etc. He asked me if there was a rogue that could be molded into a DC character, and out of the choices that I was given, Tom Bat stuck out for the obvious reason. Though the designs for the original character were very helpful, It was even more fun to come up with my own version of this character's backstory. Though much of the original will be included, this is just my own rendition of Tom Bat, or rather Pteropus in this case. Story(my own rendition):
Millionaire Martha Benjamin had a troubled life, much like her childhood acquaintance Bruce Wayne, some would say that they are the same person at heart. Yet, unlike Bruce who had lost his parents due to a mugging in Crime Alley, Martha's parents, Arthur and Cecilia Benjamin who were allies to the mob don Carmine Falcone were gunned down by the young officer Miles O'Hara when her father drew a gun towards the officer while she and her family were leaving an opera; and after returning to their respected manors, both vowed to avenge their parents death and declared war on those who had taken their parents away from them and ruined their lives. When Martha returned to Gotham, she would reacquaint herself with her Bruce, and would have her hatred for the Gotham City Police Department, and Chief O'Hara revealed in no time at all, and her desire to "cleanse it" would be one of her driving points in running for city council. Behind her philanthropist image which could rival even Bruce Wayne's aside her policies on the Police force, Martha was hiding a skeleton in her own closet, and her inner connections to the Gotham Mob and acted as the true Batman for criminals. She knew that it would be a matter of time before both matters were revealed to Gotham and that she needed to exact her vengeance in that moment. However, she knew that she would have to have an ace in the hole. So one night, when the notorious gangster Felix Diggory would call for her services to murder new Police Captain Dean Warren, he and his men would spread lies that he was murdered by Batgirl whom was patrolling the area and came across the captain whom was murdered in his own home. As more members of Gordon's police force were found murdered, more rumors began to spread through the city in which involved Batgirl being the killer, as Diggory's lower ranking henchmen only witness Pteropus' silhouette they jumped to the conclusion that Batman's second protegee had gone rogue and had planned this killing spree for a long time. As time goes on, and the list of victims grew which would even expand to lesser known costumed criminals, as well of small-time thugs who were put away by Chief O'Hara. Eventually, the old chief would be listed as an accomplice to Batgirl and was being threatened by Benjamin to be sent to Blackgate for being an accomplice to the murderous Batgirl. Batman and Robin were now on the clock to capture the true culprit, to clear Batgirl's and O'Hara's name. It wouldn't be until the dynamic duo would meet Pteropus while they were hunting down crime boss Chase Mario who had been executing a new drug operation, that they would meet Batgirl's perpetrator face to face. Though she had escaped both Batman and Robin, along with the aid of Batgirl, it would not be enough for her to escape justice for long. After a failed attempt to deal with the chief herself after kidnapping him from his home, Batman who had deduced Pteropus' identity, would defeat her with the aid of Batgirl and O'Hara's long time friend Commissioner James Gordon after Martha's failed attempt to have Batman see things her way, and let her continue vigilantism in her way as long as he stood out of her way. Now when she would be released from Blackgate thanks to her lawyers, she will set out to continue her extreme war on those she despises and to rid Gotham of O'Hara, Commissioner Gordon, the Bat-family, and the entire Gotham Mob after she had lost their support after learning of Martha's double life, and viewed her as one of the "freaks" of Gotham City.

1. In case anyone is wondering, Pteropus is another name for a Flying fox, or rather a fruit bat.
2. The story was originally going to have her kill crooks unlike Batman, but I decided to change it to where she like Wrath hates the police and wants them gone, especially Miles O'Hara.
