a bit of context behind this
these are sisters, they're both immortal, completely immortal. they can't die even if they get shot through the head. the unicorn had a mortal husband, who died. her sister, the alicorn, tried to comfort her. I don't remember their names so the unicorn will be U and the alicorn will be A.

a: sister, I'm sorry for your loss, I'm sorry that we had to be born this way.
u: its just....I loved him so much, I didn't want him to die. now that I know I'll never find anyone, it just hurts that I'll never find love nor be able to have friends outside this family..
a: well...you can't stop trying to find someone...just because of our immortality. we just have to accept that...we'll never die...not even with any of the spells mom or grandma make up.
u: thats exactly what I'm talking about, we'll forever be single, we'll forever live in pain and suffer seeing the ponies of newer generations be together and all die together.
a: well....you have me...don't you-? we can't gjve up our immortality, but we can make other ponies immortal. well just have to find someone you love, and make them immortal
u: but what if they hate immortality..? what if they think I'm crazy..? what if I'll never find someone I love who actually wants to be immortal?
a: then..you can try convincing them. I'm sorry I'm not much help..
u: they couldn't, we just couldn't convince them. we can't force immortality kn them either. the only option I have now is to find a partner here, or I could just be in deep sleep, forever, not waking up, for all of eternity.
a: you forgot the stars??

a: our grandparents were the first ponies to ever live, and they were born from stars. maybe when other stars are born, and they reach the age for them to start dating, you could find a lover.
