it also looks really cool in the stadium games, its an actually pretty tough pokemon in those old games

hmm I'll have to give him a go next time then. any advice on a moveset? doesn't he get hypnosis and confuse ray?

it's good with those kinds of moves, it learns Stomp and Hypnosis real early so it gets that nice duo and it's really helpful to catch pokemon.
it gets Confuse Ray way later on so that's a shame, but it learns a crazy amount of good moves through TMs, I find Hypnosis with Headbutt to be really satisfying because you may not be able to get the Sleep but you may still get the flinch, it felt good to beat one of Lances Dragonites with it
