She was, but when Shaggy told her how he felt about what she was doing instead of letting her continue (I.e. "Shaggy likes baggy") she didn't push it. It's a shame they split up - if they'd have had more time to learn about eachother properly and Shaggy had been ready for the commitment it could have been damn beautiful.

SQUEE!!!! I've loved this couple even in the old cartoons when they WEREN'T a couple! I even liked it better than Freddie and Danger-Prone-Daphne (and those two have always been canon!)
I love the Scooby-Shaggy-Velma love triangle! It's so FUNNY!!! XD But I do hope Shaggy n Velms get back together (spoiler to anyone who hasn't seen that episode yet) and Scooby learns to accept it.
