What if Lika's life had shown in the Conqueror of Shamballa movie? Many times I asked myself this question. One day Ade made a sketch representing this scene and I wanted to finish the job. I loved to draw her with Scar and Lust counterparts. In fact I think Lust and Lika could get along very well, whether the Roma (or ex- homunculus) remains as Scar's sister in law or as a candidate to win his love (in the film is never specified if she finishes with Scar as a girlfriend).
In short. I'm not going to say what happens here since just seeing the faces of the characters you can imagine what it's happening, even the dialogues -or I hope so-. And even more taking into account the so unfavorable situation that is shown in the film for gypsies. You just can see Lika is trying to intervene in something or do something and Scar stops her and holds her. I think it's interesting to let each person to interpret their own ideas, don't you?
Soon you will see Joanna and Oda in Shamballa version too.
By the way, if anyone asks about the life of Lika's counterpart in this world, I can say that she is a woman working in a traveling circus. And guess what's is her job. Yes, knife thrower!

¿Qué pasaría si se hubiera mostrado la vida de Lika en la película del conquistador de Shamballa? Muchas veces me hice esta pregunta. Y un día Ade hizo un boceto representándo esta escena y yo quise terminar el trabajo. Me ha encantado poder dibujarla junto a las contrapartes de Scar y Lust. De hecho creo que Lust y Lika podrían llevarse muy bien, tanto si la gitana (o ex-homúnculo) sigue siendo la cuñada de Scar como candidata a conquistar su amor (en la película no se especifica nunca si ella acaba con Scar como pareja).
En fin. No os voy a decir lo que ocurre aquí ya que viendo las caras de los personajes podeís imaginar lo que puede estar ocurriendo, incluso los diálogos -o eso espero-. Y más aún teniendo en cuenta la situación tan poco favorable que se presenta en la película para los gitanos. Podeís ver que Lika intenta intervenir en algo y Scar la detiene. Creo que es interesante dejar que cada persona interprete sus ideas, ¿verdad?
Próximamente vereís a Joanna y Oda en versión Shamballa también.
Por cierto, si alguien pregunta acerca de la vida de la contraparte de Lika en este mundo, diré que es una mujer que trabaja en un circo ambulante. Y adivinar cuál es su trabajo. ¡Sí, lanzadora de cuchillos!

Hi d- tessy! I'll try to be accurate and useful to you. At first, let me say you've done a great work! The style is exactly the same as the film , and even more definite: the details are very good made, as the colouring process let me think that you've take a shoot of the film (ahahah I' m joking) . The expressions are intense and explain exacly the status of every character. Nothing to say about the clothes, and the shadows are in the right place, following the same direction of the light. The sense of the movement is very well done, and seems that the characters are moving! Finally, I'd like to say that you accomplished perfectly the task to reproduce the face lines of scar and lust : I think that's one of the most difficoult parts of the job, because is not simple to draw in a style of someone else!
Well, I'm sorry if there are mistakes in the text (I'm still learning ^_^") and continue your works like this!
Ps: how much time did this work take from you? I'm curious...

I haven't watched the 2003 anime and its sequel movie due to some difficulties, but I really want to understand more about them!

I've always wanted to, but styff kept getting in the way.
And...I've seen loads of spoilers...hopefully it wouldn't destroy the fun of watching it!
I also heard that the 2003 anime has more Ishval stuff(which I may be obsessed of) and that is one of the main reasons why I want to watch it.
While Brotherhood stuck to the awesome original plot, it cut out important character development. It cuts out the humour of the manga. It feels like something is missing.
And definitely not enough Ishval.
I WILL definitely watch the 2003 anime one day!

Hi there, this might seem a bit out of the blue, but would you consider making tutorials on drawing in FMA style? Your style is incredible, completely spot on, I legitimately thought, when I first saw this in Google images, that it was something from the 2003 anime (I haven't got around to watching that one yet so I didn't know otherwise ^^"). It blends so seamlessly with the canon characters, and myself and friend were thinking of sketching little comics just for ourselves and would love to be able to draw FMA characters as flawlessly as you do

Hi! thank you very much for the compliment. Well... I don't use any pattern when I drawing FMA's style, every time is different. Besides, my English is very poor for doing tutorials. The only advice I can give you is to have official references when you draw it.

This is just gorgeous! I really love how you did this and the emotions involved! Just overall my favorite piece! I really love how you did Scar. He's my favorite character and I have the biggest crush on him so he looks very handsome here. It's interesting to see him with such different coloring but it's still fantastic looking! And also very inspiring! thank you for making such a beautiful piece! (I just love how he's holding onto her. Shows he does have a soft side under his grumpy exterior. We remember May's Panda.

My God! Lika looks so expressive! It gives life to the picture. Plus I also think that the emotion she is portraying at the moment really goes well with the whole feeling of the entire Shamballa movie! Do you get me?

La verdad es que esta pelicula me encantó, aun que la serie no me llamó mucho, esta pelicula fue genial >3<
Y hablando del dibujo, me gusta mucho, Lust se ve hermosa en la versión gitana, y Scar ewe

mmmmm, creo que puedo adivinar que a lo mejor estan amenazando a los gitanos y Lika quiere ayudar o algo, o a lo mejor han venido unos matones o imbeciles y estan destruyendo su circo, o hay una matanza!!! o NO SEEEE XDDDD
Pero en serio, el dibujo me gusta mucho, esos tonos oscuros le dan un aspecto antiguo o.o
Y la cara de sufrimiento de Lika, de impotencia o algo, se ve muy expresiva, te ha quedado muy bien >3<

Nu sé, como he comentado en este dibujo me gusta más la primera serie, porque tiene personajes muy profundos y sin clichés como en el resto de animes (el Ed del brotherhood grita demasiado, lo cual me recuerda a los cientos y cientos de héroes animes gritones que sólo buscan llamar la atención n.nu, sin embargo el Ed del primer anime es muy realista, con sus frustraciones, sus miedos y sus tristezas... no sé si me explico n.nu)

Bueno, es cierto lo de la primera serie, no digo que la odie ni nada de eso, pero prefiero la primera porque digamos que es más fiel a la historia original del manga (sinceramente amo el manga, tengo casi todos los tomos

Shamballa Lika queda muy muy bien, parece un personaje legitimo
de la pelicula. La ropa que le escogiste le va increible!!
Me encanta tambien la funcion que le diste como lanzadora de cuchillos, le va como anillo al dedo!
Todo esta perfecto y en orden, ademas bellisimo! Y pues es facil imaginarse que sucede ovo.
