This portrait was interesting, and i learned a lot from it. In general i'm trying to exercise different lightning settings in all portraits, and on zelda i went for the theme of light. Zelda represents the wisdom, and of course light, the essence that bans all evil. So i tried to do something with a more exposed enviroment, rays of light shining into her, depicting her like some elevated entity.One of the most interesting elements in this fairy tale-epic- fantasy journey that is every zelda game, is that female characters are not always submissive, specially zelda. So she is wise, but strong too so i made a posture that could express that subtle fierce attitude, looking up. Some suggestions of palace interiors at the back and wrapped it up. Hope you like it!

Shouldn't her hair be darker? More brunette? I guess, taking in the outfit and jewels, this Zelda is the one from Twilight Princess..

I tried to imagine Ocarina of time realisticly, but you're right, twilight princess version is a little more darker. The intention was to think of OoT and use some realistic assets from TP when needed, but your point is totally valid. Thanks a lot for your feedback!

Her posture, and the shoulder armour doesn't help much on that sense i guess. And weΒ΄re used to the manga tiny college girl from the concepts, so it's kinda different, yes. Manish, i don't know, maybe a more imposing and fierce Zelda. But i see what you mean. Thanks anyway for the feedback.

Good Lord, all of these Legend of Zelda portraits are so incredible! Her skin is so smooth, yet carries its weight, and and the shading makes all the textures stand out. Absolutely beautiful job!

This is stunning! I love her pose, and that lighting. She's very realistic and her facial expression suggests fairness and wisdom. I like the pale blue you chose, it contrasts the pink and yellow tones nicely.

Her pose here really is gorgeous, and so appropriate to her connection with Wisdom in the Zelda universe. Just that subtle angle of her chin, and the light pouring down on her. Augh, just gorgeous.

Wow, I love the way you posed her so that it gets across that she, as the matriarch of Hyrule, is someone not to be messed with. One of the reasons I really like Princess Zelda is because she does possess that strength, regardless of her circumstances in many of the games, to do what she can in her own power to spare the kingdom she loves - so it makes me happy that you acknowledge it and display it.

Yeah, that's one of my favourite things about Zelda, she's not the dumb submissive princess. She's indeed an essential part of saving Hyrule. First time i discovered she was Sheik, i really started to respect her....a lot.
