Alrighty, this is the third breakdancing photo (and my personal favorite) of the breakdancing club at my school. I decided to make the photo black and white, except for the people and some random green lockers, not much logical reasoning, it just looked cool.here is a link to the other breakdancing photos: 1. Not a manipulation, just messing with the color luminance
(I didn't "cut and paste" or "move" anything)taken with a Nikon CoolPix 5000

this is a great photo! i love it..
wanna help me out? i'm friends with pretty much the whole breakdancing club at my school, and they want some cool shots (yearbook doesn't do 'em justice). can you give me some advice...i'm new at the whole photography thing, and the thought of this kinda action scares me :/

Try outside or inside by a window. You need to shoot at a shutter of 1/250 or faster to make sure the motion is captured as frozen.

Best advice: Take lots of shots (nearly a hundred in my case)
Don't worry if you mess up. These photos were taken a few days after a failed first attempt. 5 years later I'm a working photographer.

very cool series.... i like the use of black and white in this one. at first i thought maybe the green lockers shouldve been desaturated too, but the more i look at it i think you made a good choice... looks good just the way it is. nice work.
