Everybody speaks to themselves or has voices in their head. This doesn't necissarily mean their crazy, i guarantee you everybody speaks to themselves in some way. Let me introduce you to my voices.the 1st voice - THE ANGER - he is the devil on my right shoulder (i think everyone has one of these), he is the hate that clouds my mind, he will scorn the child for bad decisions and make him feel lower than what he is and is often the most overpowering.
the 2nd voice - THE CHILD - the self, i think of this as my own voice, the voice that the others speak to and often make decisions for.
the 3rd voice - THE GOOD - he is the angel on the other shoulder, he comforts the child when needed and tries to convince it against bad decisions. He often argues deciding points with the anger.
the 4th voice - THE FATHER - he speaks to the child and advises him like a father. Rarely taking sides of either the anger or the good, he guides the child through good times and hard times.
the 5th voice - THE DORMANT - he is sleeping, only the gift of love will awaken him. until then, he sleeps eternally.

An interesting idea, and you have executeed it nicely. Nice representations of the five voices. All around igreat composition. Maybe could of put a bit more effort into the phots though, they are good representations but could be done better.

good idea! the child and dormant pictures are disturbed by the poster in the backroom?
what is about a 'baby'? the voice that seeks just love and warmth but cannot articulate but by crying/screaming? the baby that is led by its feelings and so on...
great approach to a interesting topic.

i love the way the shoots are blured, and the sybmol above the shoots, the idea is nice, against the normal ego shoots

Everyone talks to themselves inside their heads... this is a cool concept for a piece, I like it, I think you represented each voice well I just need to get mine to be more optimistic, yeah... Good work!

Interesting, there is absolutely nothing wrong with talking to yourself (to me anyway) or talking to animals, plants, or inanimate objects.
