Ever since playing through PM:TTYD and beating the Shadow Queen, I've been extremely interested in the "magical potential" of shadows. And just fascinated by the powers of darkness all together.

I've always liked the idea of some dark power taking over the body of a weak, innocent person to use it for evil. You can see this in my writing especially. Like when Dark Nebula took over MK and Marx's bodies. Dark Metra and Shadow Vartrereo are both characters that do this as well. Pure darkness or the beings that control it are the evil of all evils in my opinion.

Spoilers ahead.

This is Shadow Star, just a sort of different form that shows up in NaSoH. She, SSword, DBlade, Blade, Sword, Star and Ariah get kidnapped and locked up in Shadow Nebula's castle. ( ) But SN takes out SStar cuz he thinks she's hot and forces her into marriage. D:

I still have alot to figure out about SN's history. But the basic story is that he did once have a wife but she died or something, and now her spirit roams around the Shadow World (where NaSoH takes place). Once the wedding ritual between him and SStar is over, his departed wife's spirit takes over her body, making the thing in the pic you see above.

As long as that blindfold is over her eyes, SN's wife's spirit is on control of the body, but if the blindfold comes off, SStar gets it back.

So far, that's all I got. I still gotta think up the epic battle at the end and stuff.

Her outfit totally isn't inspired by Okami or Rao or anything.

The Kanji near the top means "beauty" and the one near the bottom means "demon". I used a different set this time cuz I wanted "darkness" but the old one didn't have it. The new one did, but I thought demon would be more evil, so, there you go.

I really like how the shading came out on this one. c:
