Description Official MacThemes Release Thread : macthemes.net/forum/viewtopic.…

After a lot of PM requests, I decided to re-code and clean-up my springboard widget for release.

Credits/Inspirations:
* heyisTi - monty - Max

Special thanks to:
* dav91: Fixing the calendar widget code
* FIF7Y/GAFMEDIA: Providing the weathericon set

Notes:
* You will need to include your own wallpaper in the folder and rename it too: Wallpaper@2x.png
* Users on iOS 4.3.1 firmware or older, keep the filename Widget.html

* Users on iOS 5/6 firmware, both Widget.html or Wallpaper.html filenames will work
* Users on iOS 7/8 firmware, please be patient as I am porting this widget to be compatible with SBHTML

* Wallpaper.html / Widget.html:
- .CalendarWidget - Adjust entire widget
- .year - Adjust Year
- #days - Adjust Days
- #daysofweek - Adjust Days of the Week
- #today - Adjust Today
- SPAN#clock - Adjust Clock
- SPAN#ampm - Adjust AM/PM

* wStyle.css:
- Adjust temp/city/description/weathericion

* Changing weather location:
- For US people, simply use your zip code
- For International people outside the US, browse to weather.yahoo.com, get the RSS feed for your location and at the end of the URL, you should see something similar to this USIL0042. Use this as your weather code.

Winterboard hasn't been updated to support .html widgets so your answer is no...

So I got this loaded on my phone, but the icons are all still in the stock locations. How do I get the 3X3 look?

This tweak works on iPhone 4s, ios 6.1. Make sure you add a wallpaper named: Wallpaper@2x.png in the folder and rename the Widget.html to Wallpaper.html

This is perfect!

Would you consider releasing an update to this, with some alternate versions? I'd like to contribute some! I wouldn't dare release my mods otherwise, as I assume you wouldn't approve.

Place it inside your Theme folder and enable it in Winterboard. I can't remember the exact directory since I sold my iPhone4 awhile back.

Look on Cydia's main homepage under the "FAQ" section, it shows you how/what you need to change the appearance of your iDevice.

The 2 main things you need to theme your iDevice is OpenSSH and Winterboard from Cydia, after that.. its pretty straight forward.

Forgot to mention that you also need a putty program to SSH into your phone. If your on windows, use WinSCP.. its freeware. If your on a Mac, use CyberDuck.

d0ink In reply to Ericjr [2011-08-11 14:31:16 +0000 UTC]

There is already a clock implemented into the widget. Remove the "//" comment characters under the clock function for display:none;

And the wallpaper can be found here on dA. Its called "Clean" by kissbomb

Any update on the iPad version?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

d0ink In reply to swizzle23 [2011-08-01 13:44:44 +0000 UTC]

..unfortunately no. The problem with the iPad is the Normal/Landscape viewing mode and getting the widget to auto-center with how your holding/viewing your iPad. The JavaScript coding I've found doesn't wanna work and I can't test it often since I myself don't have a iPad. I usually go to my sister's house on the weekend and test it, but lately I've been lazy.

swizzle23 In reply to d0ink [2011-08-01 15:10:43 +0000 UTC]

Well I'll be happy to test anything for you, I just got an iPad2 on 4.3.3. I'm a network admin so I'm online for most of the day and could test and provide instant feedback.

Use Iconoclasm for the 3x3 layout and edit your Info.plist to remove the Icon labels.

Do you know any way to change the font color of the widget to black? I've tried replacing all instances of #ffffff with #000000 in wStyle.css but that only changed the color of the temperature reading.

Which signal icons? The stars/carrier icons can be found over on MacThemes.net. The wifi icons might be NFR (Not For Release) so I can't "technically" share them. Sorry!
