D8 Oh well, they'll be allies again soon so it's all good.

The flag in the photo is the Grand Union Flag, which interestingly looks like a combination of US and UK's flags today. This flag was first flown in 1775 on a ship named Alfred. This was the British flag flown prior to the addition of Ireland's St. Patrick's Cross, but including the 13 colonies represented by the red and white stripes.

This photo was taken at a fort on an island originally used to protect the colonies from British attack in the early 1800s. It seemed very fitting for these cosplays.
