I love Bleach's Toushiro Hitsugaya (if he were just a little older and a little taller I think I would have a big crush on him!!) I wanted to draw something that depicted the touching friendship of Hitsugaya and Hinamori and his devotion to her. Hinamori has been broken from the inside out by Aizen and Hitsugaya comforts her and draws her into the protective circle of his embrace.Related content

Oh, wow, this is simply breathtaking! I just can't get over the raw emotion in this picture. Everything, from Hitsugaya's expression, to Hinamori's tears, it's just...heartwrenching.
My favorite part has to be Hitsugaya's expression. Like he just doesn't know what to do. He wants to protect Hinamori and somehow make everything better, but he can't. He doesn't know how, and it's breaking him to see her crying like this. And he knows killing Aizen won't help either, because this is something Hinamori has to get over herself.
I just love the way his fingers are curling through her hair, and how he's holding her so protectively, trying so hard to make everything okay.
