after the events with the baby, everyone is celebrating their win at Gohan and videls house. eventually, some of them (including gohan) notice that Pan is missing, Videl explains that she had Pan go and get some supplies and that she would be back in a few hours, while everyone continues is to busy celebrate videl goes to the basement (gohan doesn't know this basement exists) where her daughter Pan is currently facing a punishment a whole year in the making, Pan was tied to a chair with her oiled up feet being tickled in stocks that also have her toes restrained so she can't move her feet, Videl tells her naughty Daughter that she made her worried sick for a whole year and that that this punishment will last just as long, she tells Pan that the room have been designed to make it impossible for her to use her energy and for her energy to be senced by the others, she proceeds to tell her that she is going to tell everyone (including gohan) that Pan was going to be sent to boarding school so no one would know she was missing, Pan can do nothing but struggle and make muffled screams (Pan's mouth is full of her mother's used socks that are kept in with ductape) videl then leaves but not before telling her to remember "mother knows best" and with that the giggling mother left Pan to her punishment
