Not all of us are like that, but unfortunately we all get picked on just because a lot of vegetarians/vegans are like that... :c

Most vegetarians are irritating. They all think we should stop eating meat despite our pointed teeth.
I don't really eat much meat - I don't eat red meat - but I have a bit of chicken now and then. I think it's natural for humans to eat meat, but I just never liked it nor had a craving for it. But I don't go around bragging about how awesome I am for not comping down on a double cheeseburger.
Some vegetarians need to get over themselves.

Thank you for not thinking all of us are like that. I know there are a lot of vegetarians/vegans that try and force people to stop eating meat, but not all of us are like that. I would never try and force someone to stop eating meat, it's their choice.

Yeah, I have a huge thing against generalizations, I have actually met some sane vegetarians though. Heck, she just preferred it because I guess she works better without meat? Idk, I just know that she was kind of on and off vegetarian, but preferred being one.
Anyways, it always seems every group has their crazy people ;_; Even if the group started out with good intentions, nobody remembers the good intentions once the extremists show up...

i know some vegetarians are annoying with the way they go on about it, but most of the ones i know are really shy about it and the only time they bring it up is at the cafateria saying "i wonder if that pasta has meat in it"... etc
i guess the people who go on about it bring it up because they need to feel supported. theyre doing it for a reason so they want people to know? idk.
ive decided to go vegeterian because i cant stand the way animals are being treated to feed our overpopulating race. just looking at documentaries and appeals about it makes me so distraught. i dont want to support that.
it will be hard for me sometimes i know and ill go on about it sometimes to get support from people, but im definetly going to try and not be in peoples faces about it.
because i still believe that humans were intended to eat meat

i think theres many vegetarians like this. they just stay out of the debate
my friend is always trying to justify why he eats meat whenever we talk and its frustrating because i feel like he feels accused by me. (i found out its because his ex was hardcore vegan and go nuts at everyone, even other vegans, about the smallest things)
thats a bit odd what your friend did. i think if vegetarians and vegans are forceful in their opinions, they will just encourage people to /not/ want to know about it :c (like most things: religion, politics, etc)
but some people are very passionate about what they believe in too.
your friend sounds a bit naive though. there isnt anything wrong with eating meat, but the way people slaughter animals is very wrong.
for example, some pigs are kept in tiny cages almost no larger than their body, cant even turn around, and are forcefully impregnated over and over until they die, and are then sold off for meat.
i think talthese are conditions your friend should worry about instead of fighting a losing battle about meat eating. (that kind of battle is only one you can fight with yourself)

This kinda ticks me off. SORRY!
i mean, it annoys me when people brag about stupid things. but MOSTT of the time they are just proving that they are proud of themselves..not exactly trying to brag.

It's fine to be proud of yourself, but talking about it every chance you get is bragging. If someone was being asked about their vegetarianism/veganism, then that's a different story from someone who just likes to mention out of the blue how long it's been since they last had meat.
Especially considering the better-than-thou attitude most of them have with it.

Yeah.
I am just going by what I do. I'm sure there are a lot of bragging vegetarians out there, and that is just being dumb. It's their choice not to eat meat, and its a non-veggies choice to eat meat.
But,I guess I do agree with you with annoying people. Just cause you don't eat meat doesn't mean you have all these bragging rights..because I'm sure no one else cares anyways xD

I havn't had a banana in years. I had bananas, except in cereal. And cereal makes me feel sick...and MAKES me sick. It's not fun at all on my tummy. And I haven't had applesauce since I was in elementary school. I honestly felt like gagging when I ate it.
