Description OR ALTERNATELY TITLED... "Valiant Admirer 5"....

Who says daughters of wealthy parents cannot enjoy even the simplest pleasures, like pose with awesome automotive machines??

Remember these? [link] [link] [link] [link]

This time, our favourite "not-quite-Paris-Hilton" sends cordial and heartfelt greetings to the family and her fellow groms back home, sitting atop a classic Chrysler: this time, the CH-series Chrysler.

Produced by Chrysler Australia from 1971 to 1976, the "Chrysler by Chrysler", is the luxury variant of the concurrent Chrysler Valiant, the CH-series alongside the VH Valiant (1971-73), the CJ alongside the VJ Valiant (1973-75) and the CK alongside the VK Valiant (1975-76).

Based upon the VH-series Valiant (the 9th version of the Chrysler Valiant model produced in Australia and the very 1st model to be a uniquely Australian design), the CH Chrysler shared the same floorplan as the 2-door Valiant hardtop, and the wheelbase was identical to that of the Valiant hardtop and slightly longer than that of the Valiant sedan. But it also differed significantly from its Valiant counterpart in external appearance, featuring a four headlight grille encircled by a chrome surround and a unique wrap-around horizontal tail-light assembly. The frontal styling was highly reminiscent of the 1971 US model Dodge Coronet . And as it was meant to be a luxury model capable to compete against Ford Australia's Fairlane and the Statesman by Holden , it featured a long list of standard luxury equipment items, including front disc brakes, power assisted steering, a push button radio with power antenna, a carpeted boot, tinted power operated windows and courtesy lighting which included adjustable reading lights for rear passengers. Considerable attention had also been taken to reduce noise, vibration, and harshness with the application of additional soundproofing material. A 265 cu in (4.3 L) hemi six-cylinder engine was fitted as standard equipment, with an American designed, Australian built 360 cu in (5.9 L) V8 available as an option. An imported "TorqueFlite" three-speed automatic transmission was used in all variants.

Here is Lo with the stylish (CH) "Chrysler by Chrysler" sedan.
Sending out "cordial and heartfelt" (CH) greetings from atop a "classy and hearty" (CH) Chrysler! Get it?

.

Wow. Lo, you absolutely look stunning in that dress. Too bad Fresh TV decided not to go with it. Eh, their loss.

Perhaps it was ultimately decided for Lo to wear a regular yellow sundress, as this dress might be confused for a sarong [dress]. Or even a large bath towel! One can only guess why the preliminary outfit was changed to the one we would come to know.

As I recall, rightly or wrongly, what ultimately become our Emma was originally an orange/blonde, almost Fin-like.

Funny you should mention the 1973 (VH) Chrysler Valiant Charger R/T E49......[link] .

And JSYK I did mention the front styling (ie: front grille, etc) of the (CH) Chrysler "was highly reminiscent of the 1971 US model Dodge Coronet".

A purplish salute to what was originally designed for Lo before FreshTV ultimately decided on the yellow dress we would come to know.

That's what I thought that was when I saw it. If Fresh had gone with that dress for Lo, it really would've looked good on her.
