Yes you're right ! but I've check Google and never found anything about this statue..I'll have to come back to this Museum ! but I think it's a young man dead during a war...

I do the same, it is so lifelike!! When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was an actual person sleeping/posing!

Yes Me too I'd love to be there during the pose of this young man to see his real face.
It's strange in his dream I can see a war, He's dead during a War, he was very young and loved a young woman with a firstname like Julieta or Juliena ...

It's a very nice Piece of Art...I'll have to check on Google, to see Who is Him and the Sculptor !

It is a beautiful piece of art....I think sculptures are the most talented of artists. To create something so alive that you can touch with your hand....is astonishing.

I totally agree with you ! in the middle age the sculptor were always at the same time Architect...
Now the greatest Arts are Painting & classical music, it's very different...different kind of society & time

Yes that's true ! I love this kind of Render especially for a statue...I love the very short frontier between Living or Sleeping & Death ! This statue speacks to me about Silence !
