Thanks so much ! this frame's changing a bit my way to create and that's very interesting ! well to work on a flower in close up was also a challenge for me, I didn't want to look too romantic...

Hugs and kisses for you !

nice photo oliver!

but you know, i've got that bit of stock and it's not so refined... someone else actually made it first i think. i got it on an external site.

Thanks !

I must have some Polaroid somewhere at home, but I was too lazy to search for it. I don't like to work with other people stuff, but it can be interesting to create something different from time to time.

I'd like to discover your own collection, why not !

D

it's just... i think it may be possible that the person who uploaded that nicked the stock from someone else... but i'm not sure!

i've got a polaroid camera but not film!

Oh I understand ! sorry for my English !
Well a Polaroid frame is a Polaroid frame, not an original piece of art !

I've got all the stuff to develop Polapan films, but those films doesn't exist anymore. Polaroid's karma is so realistic ! realistic and expensive.

jazzylemonade In reply to daaram [2008-08-17 10:57:25 +0000 UTC]

is Polapan the same as Polaroid?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

daaram In reply to jazzylemonade [2008-08-17 19:01:22 +0000 UTC]

It doesn't exist anymore but it way a series of 24x36mm instant processing films from Polaroid, a Polapan (N/B 125 iso) a Polagrah (N/B 400 iso), Polachrome (40 iso I think). It needed a little machine for the quick processing. The film + the mounts were extremely expensive (around 15/20€, 10 years ago). But the quality, render, contrasts were great ! and used very often in fashion photography in the 90's ! there are some example of my works in Polapan in my gallery I'll have to find them...

there was a cold clip that had a metal clip the film developed in, you wait so many minutes and pull the photo off the clip. maybe it was like that?

One of my favorite album ever ! and I love this creative collaboration between Andy Warhol and The Velvet ! At this time Lou Reed was like a symbol of the words: Rock'n'Roll, and still is !
