So it is taking me a wile to sort through the mass of images from the people I watch, and I come across this.
Rarely do I find images that invoke such a feeling where I sit and just stare.
This is one of those images.

Thanks Andy...you're right i did use photos, several differant piecesThe figure is of two pcture of myself, one of me holding a teddy bear but it was takin of my waist up so i had to merge another pic wth legs to complete the figure, the three pics in the back ground are pics in the background are stock photos that I used the distortion feature on. To give differant perspectives.Them flattened it and used the pint daubs filter on it. And titled it lovely disjointed because the figure is disjointed.
Im glad you like it.
I considering doing an actual painting on canvas, this is the is the draft for it.
But I'm such a dreamer.

I know.. I had to use two diferant pictures just to make one figure..The top figure didnt have legs so I had to give her some from another pic..It looks disjointed an so there is where the title came from.

I saved this one for last cause you asked a question and I'm going to answer. The tools? adobe CS, the pictures? five differant ones. The effects? Distortions, color adjustments and many filters. Lots of layer blendings, ie.. drop shadows.
And there you have it. a lovely disjointed piece.

yes gimp rocks.. best of all it is free and effective and consumes little memory
it has so many plugins etc etc
