Description
Today I drew two more characters for Pokemon Azurite and Malachite.

Nestor is a reformed criminal and an ally of the player. He came from an organized crime family, where he was the fourth and youngest son of a crime boss. (Basically, his family was part of the Pokemon world equivalent of the Russian Mafia.) Initially, Nestor enjoyed the criminal lifestyle, but after a stint in jail, came to realize the error of his ways. He renounced his life of crime and instead decided to devote his life to hunting down criminals. He is currently investigating Team Phenomena.

Despite not having committed a crime in years, Nestor is still haunted by his criminal past. He is now married and has a son, and wants to make sure his son doesn't make the same mistakes that he did. He is resentful of his mother, who rules over her family with an iron fist. Nestor's mother is verbally and emotionally abusive towards him, wishing he was dead or incarcerated instead of her three oldest sons.

Nestor is a Flying-type expert. Among his Pokemon are Pidgeot, Skarmory, Honchkrow, and Mandibuzz. He is one of the challengers whom the player can defend their title against in the post-game.

I based his design on Skunk Kusai, a criminal who appears in Osamu Tezuka's works. Nestor wearing a brightly colored outfit is to represent Nestor no longer being a criminal - he would have worn all black when he was one. (Skunk wears all black.)
