This stated out as a practice but of course I just couldn't resist myself and ended up drawing Homestuck again. It's kind of a redraw of this famous page: [link]
I love everything about the ancestors and I think that I share that thought with the most of the fandom at least, if not all of it.

oh wow...allow me to spew my feelings for this piece for a second. i love the blood accent a very good detail. The searing of his skin, the smoke coming from the contact, all very subtle but vital details. The way you showed his pain is evident despite his face being hidden. His head down low, the tension of his arms and his hands curled into fists hard enough to where I half expect blood to start trickling. the symbol glowing neong red as if to represent his blood, and perhaps the final sermon quote "My blood burns brightly for all to see". his fists clenched in silent agony, unwilling to give the Condence satisfaction. everything is this spells agony, defiance, and just SCREAMS the value of this moment. god that quote as well. It gives this heavy feeling to the piece, again the brightness of the irons showing his defiance. A simple yet powerful image. An excellent redraw. kudos my friend, well done.Β
