I really like the composition of this cover, centering on Gaster and the choice between FIGHT and MERCY. Obviously it's most directly referencing the human's abuse of him, with his cowering position and the mouse looming over him menacingly, which works really well because of the note that To The Marrow starts on. But those options are also within Gaster's reach, and this story is even more about his choices between those two options, from the first chapter to the most recent one. And if you can disregard the mouse, even his pose can translate equally well to a visual representation of his moral struggle. This works well on a lot of levels.

Funny you say that. I thought about leaving out the mouse pointer for exactly that reason.

I didn't actually see the mouse pointer at first glance. All I saw was Gaster looking miserable with two choices before him... so it definitely works both ways!
