I didn't care for the new Superman suit in the New 52. I thought that the idea of making it "bio-tech" and making him all alien and whatnot removed a lot of what he was.Either way, I decided to make him a suit, something "modern" and "new" that didn't deviate TOO MUCH from what he's supposed to look like, in my mind. I can see Ma Kent making this outfit, if she's a little fashion savvy.
Oh, and there IS Super bulge. - .- That bothers me about comics. Women can have these outrageous breasts, and even a little camel toe, but the HINT of a penis is verboten. He has a penis! If it's too powerful for some little boys to handle, too bad. ^_^

This may be why the red is on his abs; it's trying to put as much distance between it and the Wang of Steel as is humanly possible. Great work!

I like this a lot, and I'm hard to please when it comes to alternate Superman designs. I think my one comment is that the red almost overpowers the blue on the torso. Shifting the \S/ higher would bring some more balance, I think, as would widening the blue border between the two sections of red. Excellent work though!

This is just fucking badass. I like that he looks like Brandon Routh in the face, but looks like Christopher Reeve in the body. (Muscular, not as long, and looks like Superman)
Also you know my feelings on that Kryptonian poweranger bio-tech nonsense. I love the modern look, but that it still keeps in touch with Superman's roots. I know some don't like that he is a farmboy at heart, but to me? That's the whole appeal.
What can I say? This is just awesome.
